Bastuträsk

EMX’s Bastuträsk property is located in the highly productive and prospective Skellefte mineral belt in northern Sweden. The project contains a “window” of the same host rocks located along the southern flank of the main Skellefteå trend. These host rocks are folded around a syn-mineralization intrusion.

Locally dense drilling intercepted Zn-Cu-Au-rich massive sulfides with limited follow up to intercepts. Numerous base metal bearing (sphalerite) boulders have also been observed on the property.

There are two styles of mineralization visible on the property: massive exhalative mineralization (Zn+Pb+Ag) and footwall hosted Cu-Au mineralization. Bastuträsk is a brownfield, drill ready project with untested projections of mineralization at depth. Additionally, there are known areas of footwall Cu-Au mineralization with yet-to-be discovered exhalative mineralization.
