Palahöjden

The Palahöjden Project is located in the heart of the prolific Bergslagen Metallogenic district. The project includes two distinct styles of mineralization: VMS, skarn Zn-Cu-Pb mineralization and shear-hosted Au mineralization.

Most recently, in 2009, historic operator Lundin drilled the Eriksgruve VMS target. Drilling intersected the extension of the Eriksgruve mine along strike and at depth, bringing the total  trend of mineralization to a 660m strike length. Additional drilling targeted a previously unrecognized IP anomaly that intersected 7.43% ZnEq* over 1.80m. Lundin dropped the project to focus on other faster growing targets and left upside potential in the ground.

The two styles of mineralization are attributed to the license straddling a tectonic transition zone between the Transcandiavian Igneous Belt (TIB) and Bergslagen supracrustal rocks. Deep-seeded faults at the transition zone between shear tectonics of the Protogine Shear (PZ) and brittle tectonics in the Bergslagen supracrustal rocks result in orogenic styles of gold mineralization running through the middle of the license. SGU samples from dump material at the Sörberbshöjden license resulted in sample with 5.14 g/t Au**.

*ZnEq was calculated using 6-month average price of Zn 3296USD/tonne; Au 1768USD/ozt; Cu 9571USD/tonne; Pb 2325USD/tonne. Assumed 100% recovery of all metals. Prices are cited as of 12/2/2021 and are cited from https://www.mining.com/markets/commodity/gold/.

Nearby mines and deposits provide context for the project, but do not necessarily indicate similar size, styles or grade of mineralization within the project.
