Nabish Lake

The Nabish Lake project is underlain largely by the Nabish Lake layered mafic intrusion in contact with the Atikwa Batholith. The property hosts both the Nabish Lake Ni-Cu occurrence (secondary Pt and Pd) and the Nabish Lake Southeast Cu-Ni occurrence both consisting of sulphides (pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite) in sheared, altered gabbro near the gabbro-granitoid contact(1,2). These occurrences were discovered in the mid-50s and prompted further exploration via mapping, sampling (soil and rock), drilling and geophysical surveys(1,2).

The gabbro is reported to have a magnetic signature and host grades of Ni and Cu greater than 3% and 4% respectively(2). Reconnaissance sampling by Atikwa Minerals in 2001 to evaluate the PGE potential of the mafic intrusive returned results showing weakly anomalous PGE concentrations and a correlation between Pt-Pd and elevated Cu-Ni(3).

In Q1 2022 EMX sold the Nabish lake project to Heritage Mining Ltd. A private Canadian company for a series of milestone payments and a retained 3% NSR.

EMX has not performed sufficient work to verify the published assay data reported above, and these data cannot be verified as being compliant with NI43-101 standards. These historically reported data should not be relied upon until they can be confirmed, but EMX believes this information is considered reliable and relevant.
