Fairchild North

The Fairchild North project is within the Savant Lake greenstone belt and hosts the North Kashaweogama Lake Iron prospect (1958) comprised of two discontinuous NE trending bands of (Algoma-type) magnetite-quartz iron formation.

There is a non-compliant, unclassified possible resource of 405,000 tons at 28% Fe in 4 zones(1). BIFs are 15 to 120km wide and 150 to 245m apart with a strike length of over 4.8km(1). From 1957 to 1967, ground mag and drilling were conducted by Northern Canada Mines Ltd., and Hanna Mining Co.(2). Weakly anomalous Au was reported in samples up to 0.40 g/t yet precious-metal potential never fully accessed(3).
