Muirs Reef

Located in the Hauraki goldfield of New Zealand's North Island, the property covers historic underground mine workings developed along two epithermal style quartz vein systems, along with extensions of the mineralization along strike and in parallel structural zones. The Muirs Reef Au-Ag project is available for partnership.

High grade epithermal-style veins are hosted in the Coromandel Andesite, which hosts most of all economic mineralization in the Hauraki Goldfield. Mineralization, veins and mapped structures extend for >5km; projections are covered by younger volcanic deposits.

Historic trenching and drilling intersected Au-Ag mineralization at Muirs Reef, and defined a inferred "historic" resource1 of at a 0.5 g/t cutoff of 5.24Mt @ 1.3g/t Au for 219,100oz was defined on the property by Glass Earth Gold Ltd in 2013, based on legacy drilling dating back to the 1980's and more recent drilling to 2009-2012. EMX has not performed sufficient work to accept the 2013 Glass Earth "historic" estimate as current mineral resources, and EMX is not treating the estimate as current mineral resources. The "historic" estimate should not be relied upon until it can be confirmed. However, the drill-delineated gold-silver mineralization described by the Glass Earth report is considered relevant. 1(Peter Grieve 2013 -- Muirs Reef NI43-101 Report January 2013. See Glass Earth Gold Limited, press release dated January 30, 2013 for more information).

EMX believes application of well-established exploration protocols developed for other projects in the region will lead to additional discoveries at Muirs Reef project.

Note: The nearby mines and deposits in the region provide context for EMX's Project, but this is not necessarily indicative that the Project hosts similar mineralization, tonnages or grades.
