Diablo Porphyry is a porphyry Cu-Mo project located ~42 kilometers west of the Bagdad mine, in western Arizona and is available for partnership. Northwest trending Laramide age porphyry dike swarms cut Proterozoic crystalline rocks. A zone of moderate to intense quartz-sericite-clay alteration with abundant quartz-sulfide veining surrounds the dike swarms. Alteration observed beyond the limits of moderate to intense alteration zone consists of weak-moderate chlorite-pyrite ± epidote alteration with sparse quartz veining.
Mineralization consists of intense sulfide veining within the porphyry dike swarm and Proterozoic wall rocks with anomalous copper and molybdenum. This is all surrounded by an anomalous lead-zinc distal halo. The target is hypogene porphyry Cu-Mo mineralization beneath pyrite-rich QSP style alteration observed on surface.
