Copper Springs, Arizona
Copper Springs is a porphyry copper-molybdenum project in the Globe-Miami District of Central Arizona. EMX recognized Copper Springs as a distinctive third trend on the southern end of the Globe-Miami district, with the core of the southern trend concealed by post-mineral cover. The “root zone” of the Copper Springs trend is located southwest of the property, whereas the vein and replacement deposits at the historic Old Dominion mine, presumed to be the “top” of the system, are located to the northeast. Lying between these two outcropping structural levels of the porphyry system is a large area of post-mineral cover rock. EMX believes the analogous structural levels to the Miami-Inspiration deposit in the Copper Springs system are concealed beneath the tilted post-mineral cover rocks covered by EMX’s land position. Copper Springs is available for partnership.
Note: The nearby mines and deposits in the region provide context for EMX’s Project, which occurs in a similar geologic setting, but this is not necessarily indicative that the project hosts similar mineralization.
